Brianna Johnson-Diab serves as Embers’ Director of Community Formation where she manages the operational processes and helps establish policies that promote the organization’s culture. She also oversees Embers’ community building efforts and works in tandem with the Board of Trustees in furthering Embers’ vision through its global initiatives. 

Brianna started her career in leading teams and building brands in the beauty industry, which moved her from Indiana to California and currently to her home in New York.  Brianna’s leadership was shaped by significant leaders of Estee Lauder Company.  She is known for her ability to lead diverse teams while appropriately maintaining a great sense of humor.   

When not with Embers, you can usually find Brianna attending to one of her three children, volunteering with Prison Fellowship, or co-managing her daughter’s custom jewelry business, Jewels 4 Hope, a strategic partner of Embers. 

Over the years, Brianna has traveled to Cambodia, Ethiopia, South Africa, and India, where she has seen firsthand the ravages of violence and poverty and has mobilized support to fight injustice around the globe. She is particularly passionate about empowering the lives of women and children living in the slums and the red-light areas and helping them move out of intergenerational oppression into intergenerational flourishing.
