David Shim brings a life shaped by both rigorous study and deep spiritual formation to his role as Intercessor Counsel at Embers. He earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from Tufts University and an M.Div. from Alliance Theological Seminary. He served as Campus Pastor at Crossbridge Church's Pinecrest campus in Miami, FL and currently serves as Assistant Pastor at Hope Church in New York City. A longtime Impact Partner and supporter of the Embers community, David now leads the Embers Intercessors, our volunteer prayer community. With a huge heart for global mission, he grounds Embers' work in the conviction that lasting freedom and renewal are sustained in prayer.
