Karen Lacy serves as Embers International’s Administrative Associate, joining the team in Fall 2023. She has a degree in Dance and English from Skidmore College and is excited to support the vision and outreach of Embers with her organizational and administrative skills, which she honed and implemented over 28 years of work as a Sales Associate and Educational Liaison for a prominent pointe shoe company. Her decades of performing and teaching dance, first in NYC and now in the Philadelphia area, bring great joy to her life, and she enjoys sharing her love of this art form with people of all ages, in studios, public schools, and other outreach opportunities. The arts bring beauty to this world and her journey in this realm aligns with Embers' mission to bring beauty and restoration to the lives of women and children caught in intergenerational exploitation.
