Kate Paik serves as the Director of Programs at Embers, where she oversees Embers' six strategic programs. She manages programs and initiatives in collaboration with field partners in India, strategizes program development and growth, and leads monitoring and evaluation efforts. 

Kate comes to Embers with many years of experience working in designing, implementing, and monitoring and evaluating programs supporting women and girls affected by crises across the globe, most recently with the Women's Refugee Commission.

When Kate is not at Embers, she spends her time with family and community in Harlem, NYC, where she always finds children and dogs who enjoy playdates.

Kate has a master’s degree in International Policy from Wagner School of Public Service at NYU.
