Nelvin Johnson serves as the Director of Advancement at Embers International, where he leads fundraising and partnership engagement to expand the organization’s mission to protect, restore, and empower women and children stuck in a generational cycle of trafficking and exploitation.

A husband, father, and lifelong learner, Nelvin first built his career in the private sector before discerning a deeper calling to dedicate his life to the nonprofit space. Since 2021, he has worked to develop leaders and teams, build Associate Boards that empower young professionals, and collaborate with networks of nonprofit leaders to spark change for those on the margins.

Nelvin believes deeply in the biblical vision of restoration and the shared responsibility we all have to be active participants in bringing this vision to life.
